More than 350 job seekers attended the ISDC Career Fair May 20, 2011. Japanese new agency, NHK, out of New York were also on site to interview space professionals in lieu of the shuttle retirement.

Dave Dooling, the National Solar Observatory education officer, spoke about the Advanced Technology Solar Telescope at the Solar Optics Space Café on June 4, 2011. Refreshments followed the presentation.

HSP members gather to learn about area job opportunities and resume tips from local human resource managers. Afterward, refreshments were served during a networking session, which gave time for members to meet new members and share information.
