Senior Software Test Engineer
Authored software test case design and associated verification objectives and success criteria, based on functional requirements for the Upper Stage of the Ares I Constellation spacecraft, contracted to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Responsible for Test and Evaluation of the Mission Propulsion System (MPS), Thrust Vector Control (TVC), and the Upper Stage Electrical Power System for the Upper Stage Element. Supported test database development for the Upper Stage MPS, Upper Stage Electrical Power System (EPS), J-2X Engine, Upper Stage TVC, Roll Control System (RoCS), Reaction Control System (ReCS), Flight Safety System (FSS), and Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) requirements in the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORS) database.
- Derived a large percentage of the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) test module parameters for the DOORS database, through requirements analysis.
- Supported successful accomplishment of milestone Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs).
- Presented award by the United States Army for on-going support of War Fighters, through correspondence and packages from home.

Performed Test and Analysis of the Test Director Console (TDC) portion of the Payload Launch Vehicle (PLV) ground support software while contracted to Lockheed Martin, NASA, and the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). Interpreted test case design and management of test procedure documents. Performed Verification and Validation (V&V) testing of the Chandra X-Ray Astrophysics Observatory (space telescope), launched July 1999.
Performed system level IV&V testing of five, Digital Infrared Surface-to-Air Missile Simulation (DISAMS), foreign missile systems. Evaluated the accuracy of these digital simulation models designed to represent real-world missile performance for MSIC, on Redstone Arsenal.
Researched feasibility and approach for development of a simulation of the Aerostat portion of the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor (JLENS) defense system. Communicated findings through technical writing.
Performed test and mathematical analysis of system level results, from digital simulation models of infrared seeker guided surface-to-air missiles. Contributed to technical documents, describing test methods and results.
Authored CMM practices and procedures for MRC.
- Received the “Lockheed Martin Exceptional Performance Award” in support of the PLV program, the “Madison Research Outstanding Contributor Award,” and two awards from the Vice President of Madison Research Corporation (MRC) for achievements as the first President of the MRC Employee Association.
- Team member tasked with expanding existing and identifying new business opportunities for MRC for four consecutive years. .
